Eindrucksvoller Thangka der Simhavaktra Dakini. Simhamukha, die Dakini "mit dem Löwengesicht wurde sehr schön unter Verwendung echten Goldes als Motiv auf einem Schwarzgrund-Thangka gemalt. Wie hier wird Senge Dongchen gelegentlich mit dunklerem (nicht schwarzem!) Löwengesicht gemalt.

Fascinating thangka of Simhavaktra (Simhamukha-) Dakini. Simhamukha is the Dakini whose head is a lion´s face. Senge Dongchen sometimes is painted on thangkas with a slightly darker lion´s face - as on this thangka. The head is not black but a little dark.
