Das Motiv dieses Thangkas ist ein Mandala des Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) in seiner 1000-armigen Manifestation als Sahasrabhuja Lokeshvara. Das Thangkamotiv beeindruckt durch den Blütenkranz, der das Mandala umgibt. Auf dem Thangka sind außerdem noch viele weitere Buddha-Aspekte zu sehen, so u. a. Guru Rinpoche, der ganz oben erscheint.
The subject of this thangka is a mandala of Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara). In the centre, he appears in his 1000 Arm manifestation as Sahasrabhuja Lokeshvara.
